Timeless Passion by Kayden Claremont - Romance>Fantasy eBook

Museum director Tasha Banner needs a miracle. Without a great deal of luck and even more money, the pioneer museum will close. But when they demonstrate a Scottish New Year’s tradition, a tall, dark, and yummy stranger walks through the door. Have the faeries sent her a miracle wrapped around the man of her dreams or will altering time bring disaster to them all?

Blacksmith Dougal MacBride walks into his home after a long day and finds strangers celebrating Hogmanay when it’s just days before Christmas. Confused beyond belief and incredibly aroused by the curvaceous bundle in front of his hearth, he is torn between the need to return to his time or remain in the present with the woman who may be his soul mate.

Dougal MacBride’s breath caught on the cold winter’s night air, as a foreboding shiver snaked its way down his back. The icy breeze moaned through the barren tree branches and the half-moon cast an eerie glow on the snow-covered village.
He scoured the horizon but nothing seemed unusual.
Taking out his key, Dougal locked his blacksmith shed, tucked his knitted scarf around his neck, hoisted the small keg of nails to his hip, and started his lonely trek through the scattered houses that formed the village of Barkerville, Niagara County.
Dougal hadn’t bothered with a lantern. The warm glow from the familiar houses always lit his way home, but tonight the white dusting of snow on the ground seemed to have a mystical twinkle. The snow crunched under his boots as his breath formed small puffs.
Christmas was just five days away and the New Year just six days after that. A time for ending the old and beginning the new. He had given up dwelling on the past and only thought about the new life he had started by coming to the colonies a year and a half ago.
At the Emporium, Dougal stomped the snow from his boots. Pausing for a moment to adjust the keg, he opened the door. “Barker, here are ye nails.”
No one answered so he placed the keg on the planked floor at the end of the counter. Dougal walked over to the bins and pulled out a wooden top. Examining it, he saw how he could make a similar version in iron. If he worked hard tomorrow, he could supply the Emporium with a few of them before Christmas.
