Three Days in New York City (Sins in the City) by Robin Slick - Romance>Contemporary eBook

What happens when a frustrated American artist-turned-soccer-mom and her overconfident and charming British cyber-lover plan a three-day tryst of erotic depravity at a hotel in New York City?

Elizabeth and Richard are about to find out.

Elizabeth is about to turn forty years old, facing empty nest syndrome, and wistful about roads not taken. Unhappy in both her marriage and her career, she mourns abandoning her dream of being an artist. She feels like an outsider in her sports-obsessed family and a misfit at work in the corporate world. She's hoping Richard, a refined, British upper class gentleman with unusual sexual preferences, will be her Knight-in-Shining-Armor and rescue her from her unfulfilling life. What ensues is a hilariously poignant sexual romp through the Big Apple.

This book is the first of two stories about Elizabeth and her quest for a knight in shining armor.

Editorial Reviews:
From Susan Passerotti
"This is a terrific book! It's fast-paced and funny with a lovable narrator/main character in Elizabeth. The sex is hot and fun, and it's hilarious and touching to watch Elizabeth explore the city and her new lover, Richard.

Regarding the comments about the extra characters in the book - I believe that was a formatting issue. The publisher sent ARe a fixed file, so you can ask for a fixed one. As for the book, Slick is a talented and funny writer. However, be warned this title isn't a typical romance but a story about an empty nester coming to terms with changes in her life and a desire to live it for herself.

I dont know if it was my ereader or what but this story had heaps of extra letters through out it or if it was bad editing!!. the story was a bit boring from a woman who meets a stranger and then spends 3 days having sex and not a lot else. Richard seemed to act like a kid when out rather than a 40 year old man, Elizabeth also needed to make up her mind going from loving what their doing to not.Would have liked to know more about richards history, all we know is he has 3 daughters and is english
