Thank you for choosing to submit your work for consideration for publication in All Romance's 28 Days of Heart series.
We are very excited about this project. This special series of short stories will be released during the month of February
and will benefit the American Heart Association.
We are planning to release one book per day for 28 days. Each title will be between 10,000 and 20,000 words,
have a unique cover, and be marketed exclusively by All Romance both as an individual download and as part
of a bundled anthology.
Submissions will be accepted between July 1 and October 31, 2009. Enclosed are the forms that must be completed
for each submitted work. Please complete all fields to the best of your ability at the time of submission. I'll be
the Editor-In-Charge for the 28 Days of Heart Campaign and will make the final decision in early November as to
which submissions will be chosen. If your story is selected as one of the 28, I will introduce you to your editor.
You'll also be given a release date at that time.
Your editor will work with you to polish your manuscript. You will have a chance to see and comment on the cover
art before the design is finalized. Three calendar days will be allotted for response. Your editor and the art
director will review your comments and then make the final determination regarding what, if any, revisions should be made.
We anticipate having more wonderful stories than we have slots for. If your story is not chosen for the 28 Days of Heart series,
you will either have rights returned to you or I may ask if you wish to participate in All Romance's Free Read program. If you
receive and accept an offer for the Free Read program, you will receive a new contract. You will find more information about our
Free Read program in the Advertising/Affiliate section of our home page (link at the bottom).
