Description
Love and cultural values collide.Forty-year-old Braden Elkhorn has everything a wealthy, successful man needs—except a wife. As the oldest of four brothers (none of whom are dating Native American women), he feels an obligation to help preserve his Cherokee heritage by marrying a Native American woman. His problem? He’s fallen hard for a shy, full-figured, African-American beauty.
Neida Armstrong can’t seem to get love right. Her first love left her to teach in third world countries. After ending a relationship with a second man who felt more than she did, she meets and instantly falls for Braden. To her dismay he only wants a summer fling. Landing him will require her to fight for him.

Excerpt:
He rose and extended his hand. “Dance with me.”She looked up at him. Oh damn he was a big, sexy man. “This isn’t dance music. It’s grind music.”
His smile turned into a charming grin. “Then grind with me?”
The thought of her mother’s reaction to her quick acceptance of such an offer sent a thrill of excitement through her. “I’d be delighted to,” she said and eagerly placed her hand in his.
He drew her to her feet and away from the sofa. Pausing in the middle of the living room, he brushed his lips against her fingertips before he drew her close. When her body touched his, he slipped an arm around her waist.
She placed her hands against his shoulders, staring up at him with her lips parted and the tip of her tongue extended. She felt hot all over and consumed with need for him.
He bent his head until she felt his breath against her ear. “Are you old enough to tease and please me, Oneida? Because that’s what you’re doing.”
“Yes.”
“You look very young.” He nibbled at her ear.
She shivered. “I’m 26.”
He sighed.
“That’s over 21,” she said quickly.
He lifted his head to look down into her eyes. “Yes, but a little on the young side for me. I’m 40 years old.”
“I don’t have a particular preference for older men, but…”
“But?”
“But I like you and that wouldn’t change even if you were sixty,” she said.
“I’m flattered. Now tell me, querida, do you know what I want?”
His ability to arouse her most deep seated sexual passions in a way no other man ever had excited her. She supposed it was too much to expect him to romance her a little before he bedded her. Nevertheless, his lack of finesse disappointed her. She lowered her lids to conceal her expression. “I received the chemise. I know what you want.”
“And are you going to give it to me?”
“Probably,” she admitted.
“Good.” He slowly guided her around the room.
She relaxed, pressing her cheek against his shoulder and closing her eyes. So he wasn’t romantic. No one was perfect, but he sure came as close as possible—at least physically.
While they swayed together, he’d kept his hands on her waist.
Several minutes into their second dance, she became aware of his cock against her body. She sucked in a breath at its length and girth.
He nibbled at her ear while he slid his hands down her back below her waist to massage her ass cheeks before palming them.
Neida trembled, curling her hands into fists against his shoulders.
He traced the tip of his tongue around the top of her ear.
A rush of moisture flooded her thong. She slid her hands up his chest to link around his neck as she mindlessly pressed herself against his cock.

Although a bit fraustrating to read, I can understand why Braden was torn between Neida and his culture. It is not so easy to dismiss what a person had been born into for the sake of love. This deep emotional conflict was handled well in this story and both H/H got to have their HEA. In my opinion, this story is one of Ms Lee's better one. Submitted By: haz on Nov 25, 2011
This book repeats itself so much its so frustrating i skipped 50 pages and missed nothing. I could not stand the hero asshole. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Submitted By: kiboo on Nov 21, 2011
Was ok. Heroine was kinda young, but the Hero acted younger than his age at times too. It had its funny moments. Can't wait to read the siblings stories.Yours, Now And Forever
