Chapter 1

Closing Time


Nurse Colleen Morgan started her shift wearing a crisply starched, sparkling white uniform. She walked with an eager spring in her step. Now, eight hours later, her uniform was wilted and she moved with the tired gait of someone who’d been on her feet for hours. She checked her watch and smiled. At last, she thought, five o’clock ... closing time. She extracted a ring of keys from her pocket and walked to the front door.
Under the clinic’s rotation system, the rest of the staff had left at four. Only Colleen and Dr. Mark Wheeler remained. He looked forward to the one day each week when he and Colleen were scheduled to close the office.
Wheeler sat behind the desk in his private office where he’d just finished dictating notes for his patient files. Peering through the open door, he watched Colleen walk down the corridor toward the front door. The late afternoon sun poured into the glass enclosed reception area, providing him with a silhouetted view of the statuesque blonde’s hour-glass figure. As she turned to face the front door, her profile offered the shadow of her firm breasts jutting outward and straining against her white uniform.
Lowering his gaze, Mark saw the outline of the slip she wore beneath the white dress. It only slightly blurred the darker outline of her shapely legs. Colleen was a long-legged, five feet, five inches tall. With each step she took he could see the space between her legs clearly framed all the way up to the apex of her thighs. What a magnificent sight, he thought.
