“What have you done, Zavier?” Ryan demanded, slamming their apartment door. He ripped off his coat and gloves and threw them to the floor as he burst into the kitchen of the small apartment he and Zavier shared. Tears streamed down his face. Ryan stalked to Zavier, who stood stirring soup at the stove. “You made the deal, didn’t you? You sold your soul to save me.”

Zavier stared down into the simmering broth. Anything to escape the fear and betrayal in Ryan’s eyes. “Baby, I--”

“Don’t ‘baby’ me. I told you not to do it. It isn’t worth your life. Your soul is not a price worth paying.” Ryan’s whole body trembled.

Zavier took him into his arms. Ryan clutched him, pulling him close and wrapping around him as though trying to shield him from the evils of the world.

“It was worth it to me.” Zavier leaned back and stared into eyes that reminded him of green glass. He loved those eyes. Loved this man beyond measure.

A really good love story which keeps you captivated until the end. With love , drama scarifice and heartbreak and the good guy winning in the end. Hopefully we might get to read Adrian's story soon.
