Slake

This was a cute story, but it left a few gaps. And it does need a good editing. As far at the story line goes, I enjoyed it. With a little fleshing out, it would have been great. I plan to read the others in the series, because I think this author has potential. Once Brookes learns to fill in the gaps (a line or two to explain why Jackson return to Leo would have been good), the stories will be excellent. Good start to a series.

This story has potential as the beginning of a series, but the lack of good editing and proofreading drastically reduced my enjoyment of the book. I found myself either laughing at non-humorous moments because of the very poor word usage or wanting to get out a red pen and start proofreading. If the story were better presented, I would definitely be planning on reading the others, but the uncorrected poor writing will deter me from doing so.
