Editorial Reviews:
From Brenda Talley, The Romance Studio
...An incredibly sexy story, which was both fast paced and a speedy read. The story ended much too quickly and I would have loved to read more about this couple. The sex was explicit, but not offensive. There was much more to this story than just sex; the plot was wonderful. I think Ms. Lyndi Lamont has a winner.
From Michelle, Fallen Angels Reviews
...A short, erotic novella of intrigue and danger set in the 1700s as America fought for her freedom. Sally is a spunky and passionate creature...Jack was commanding and showed his feelings in an incredibly touching way, not to mention his capacity for the arts of the bedchamber.. A well-fashioned story about seduction and spies.
From Jo, Joyfully Reviewed
...Sally has agreed to spy for the rebels in hopes that she can learn something to end this[Revolutionary] war. Jack is British through and through...Circumstances create strange bedfellows and Sally and Jack are among them...as lovers are about as star-crossed as can be...A bittersweet romance but one that lovers of historical romances will enjoy.
Excerpt:
…In a haze of desire, he stumbled to the bed where she waited. His shaft was hard as a rock, straining against his breeches. She ran her hands up the length of his cock, making him groan with desire, before slowly undoing the buttons, then untying his drawers. The tips of her breasts brushed his chest as she pushed his pants and drawers over his buttocks. He sat to strip them off, along with his stockings, then reached for her.

He cupped her breasts in his hands and her nipples hardened under his touch. She sighed with apparent pleasure.

Though hot with desire, he found it difficult to accept his easy conquest. “What brought you here, Sally?”

She gazed at him with her whiskey-brown eyes. “I want you, Jack,” she said, her voice low and husky. “Is there any reason to doubt that?”

He pushed back the covers and reached down to cup her mound. She opened her legs wider to his questing fingers. Her slit was slick with desire. “No, love, no doubt at all.”

She squirmed against his hand. “Why did you ask?”

“Philadelphia is riddled with rebel spies. For all I know, you could be one.”
