As I was about to pay for the room, he stilled my hand and took some cash out of his wallet with a stern look that brooked no argument. Fine with me. I didn’t particularly care who paid, but if he wanted to be chivalrous, I wouldn’t argue.
I found it hard to believe that I was going to sleep with this man. Doing something like this was so unlike me, and yet, after the night I had, I knew without doubt that it was going to happen.
Staring at him while the evening manager processed the payment, I noticed how breathtakingly gorgeous the man beside me really was. Thick, dark brown hair, wet from the rain, covered his head, a tendril teasing his forehead. His chiselled, angular jaw dusted with a five o’clock shadow, shouted his masculinity. His lips curled up when he caught me staring, half a smile, half a challenge. Oh, but his eyes captured me in deep pools of blue, that took my breath away. My pulse quickened at the thought of what we’d come here to do. Wrong or right, he appealed to me on so many levels.
The night manager handed us the key to our room giving us a brief instructions for where to find it. Having worked here before, I knew exactly where it was. The rain fell around us as I guided the way to our room, half nervous, half excited. Guilt came over me for a brief second, before the stranger’s hand again slid to the small of my back. My breath hitched in my throat. His presence eased my nervousness but intensified my excitement. The tense muscles and the fluttering in my stomach ceased though the brief contact sent shivers of anticipation down my spine, arousing the very point that ached for him most.
The key jingled in my shaking hand as I inserted it in the key slot. I could say that having one-night stands wasn’t the norm for me—and it wasn’t—not whilst in a serious relationship anyway, but in all honesty they weren’t new territory for me. I’d had my fair share, though I’d thought I’d grown out of that phase in college. Evidently I was wrong.
I pushed open the door then turned, flipping on the light. The dim light illuminated the quaint room but did little to hide the orange paisley print wallpaper covering the walls. Obviously, the new owners hadn’t remodelled yet. Just as I remembered, a small scrap peeled off in the far corner. The comforter was a mixture of yellows and oranges swirled together in a dizzy form. A small bathroom sat off to the side of the room in the very back. It still smelled the same—cigarettes and sex, covered by the cheap cleaning solutions the maid had used.
I threw the key on the table and stepped aside allowing the stranger to accompany me inside. I had a choice. I could ask him questions, get to know him a bit, or I could move in for the kill and just fuck him five ways till Sunday. Either way, the latter would happen. The sooner the better. I wasn’t in the mood for small talk. I needed bodily contact—regardless of how shallow. Besides, the less he knew about me, the better off we’d both be.
I slid my hands to the front of my suit coat, feeling naughty that I wore the sexiest lingerie I owned underneath. I’d wanted to get out of these clothes when I first arrived home, yet Dylan told me about the phone call and—
I shoved away the bad thoughts. They were better left for reality. This was my fantasy, and my fantasy told my mind to shut off and do nothing but what my body wanted. My eyes scanned over the stranger. Oh yeah. I wanted him.
My suit jacket opened, and I saw his eyes dilate as he took in the sight revealed when I shed the first layer of my clothes. I dropped my hands to my sides and let him have an unobstructed view of the lacy plum-coloured bra. It did its best to keep my ample breasts contained. It made me feel sexy and could bring a man to his knees.
To my delight, the bra did exactly what it was designed to do. A massive bulge tented the front of my stranger’s pants, doing little to keep itself hidden as he stood before me in his soaked clothing. Part of me wanted to deny how his reaction turned me on. If he didn’t find me attractive, we could walk away from this unscathed. But he did. The longer he stood passively watching as I stripped before him, the wetter my pussy got. Swallowing a rising lump of lust, I held his eyes with my own.
The cool air in the room beaded my nipples into hard little points beneath the lacy cups. I didn’t think twice when my hands went to the side zipper of my pencil skirt, sliding it down and pushing the garment away from my body. I smiled as the stranger took in the sexy-as-sin bra and matching thong. A look of pure lust stamped across his handsome face.
I can do this, I told myself.
