Excerpt:
Malka a primitive planet, its habitants very similar to those on earth, where two clans of Barbarian warriors fight for supremacy; but it is this fight that threatens to eradicate this race of beings.
A strange disease ravished this land wiping out almost half of the females on the planet. Even more precious female lives were lost in the battles between the Dascon and Larmat clans. Hakan the leader of the Dascon clan turns to the Rundal for help. The Rundal a highly evolved race of beings who have peacefully shared lands with the Dascon tribes agree to help and set out to find a race of beings similar to the barbarian warriors. Though their search was long the Rundal find a planet with females that may be compatible with the large barbarian warriors. Hakan reluctantly prepares to send his son Niro to this watery planet to acquire two females and bring them back to Malka. Though he fears for his only son’s safety, the urgent need for females must take precedence. The fate of the barbarian race depends on if their warriors can mate successfully with these two females.
“Niro, it is important that you only take a small group of warriors with you,” Hakan said. He looked upon his son with a father’s pride. Niro has proven himself in several battles as well as winning the trials two years in a row. Now for the first time Hakan was fearful for his son. The Rundal will be taking Niro and a few other warriors to a totally different planet in their metal beast.
“I understand father.” Niro strapped on his knife to his thigh, more out of a force of habit then anything. He knew the Rundal were a peaceful race. “Many of my men have not lain with a female in many months; this could be a dangerous thing for the people of this watery planet.”
“Remember only bring back two females. We need to see if they can survive on this planet first before we import more.”
“This is wise, father.”
“Indeed. I will not have the blood of another female on my conscience.”
“Rage clouded your judgment father. That was a long time ago.” Niro hated to see his father like this. He knew his father was sorry for not putting an end to the battles that constantly erupted between the two clans. A man who continues to wrestle his own conscience is a truly remorseful man.
“Take Saa and two lesser warriors with you. This should be enough to secure two females.” Hakan placed his hand firmly on Niro’s shoulder. “Make the females want to come with you, but if necessary force them too.”
“I will be as gentle as possible.” Niro tied back his long black hair. Men on Malka wore their hair very long, usually running the length of their backs.
“Be careful of their males, we know not the kind of warriors they are.”
“I will try not to shed any blood father.”
“Yours and theirs, Niro.” Hakan gave Niro that stern look, the one that told Niro that his father was deadly serious.
“I will try.” Niro bowed his head to Hakan and headed out of the royal chambers.
“Niro.” Kelila, his mother ran up to him. Niro fell into her waiting arms. “I was so afraid I had missed you.” Kelila cupped his face in her hands. Kelila stood at six feet tall and she had to look up at her large son. His impressive frame was six foot six and he was only average size for a Malka male. She smiled warmly at him; he reminded her so much of his father. Not only because they both were very handsome, but because both had such a strong since of self and duty. She knew Niro would make a good ruler when his time came.
“I would have sought you out, Mother.” He smiled down at her warmly.
“Your father did say to bring only two females back, right?”
“Yes, don’t worry mother, I will try to make the journey a pleasant one for the females.”
“That is another thing, Niro.” She gently led him over to the side of the hall. She didn’t want any other warrior hearing them. “Don’t take the females against their will.” She fussed with his hair feeling a bit awkward speaking of such things with her son. “The females will be frightened and being ravished by a large warrior well…let’s say might traumatize them. “
“I will not force myself upon either of them, Mother, and I will make sure none of my men will either.” Niro knew this would be a hard promise to keep. It had been a long time since he has had the pleasure of a female, the same with his men. But he would try this was the best he could offer his mother.
She lightly kissed him on the cheek and let him go on his way. Being a female on Malka was both a blessing and a curse. No female was ever lonely on this planet, with there being something like twenty men per every woman. But the ones who were not joined with a male, well they were treated like prizes and they had to be constantly on the look out. If she had not a male to protect her any man could ravish her. Kelila looked into the throne room, she was lucky she had a male, but these foreign women would not.
