Settled in first class Toni and Isaac discuss the letter that Nayla has in her possession. “Nayla didn’t want to go over this on the phone, but she said Ben is concerned the letter might be a fake because of the content and signature?”

“He was telling me that at his interview. It is unusual for an official letter to have a stamped signature instead of a real one but I’ll take a look at it when we get together.”

“Isaac I can’t think of anyone who would want to extort my father.”

“I have one theory….it would involve either Tina or Nayla as the targets. Tina being a clinical psychiatrist dealing with criminals; could be a revenge thing or Nayla being a prosecutor could have an angry defendant plotting after her. What better way to get her to throw a case. You threaten her family.”

“I guess you could be right. I never thought of that. Belle and I aren’t as visible, so no reason to come after us.”

He squeezed her hand. “Toni, I don’t know how much I can do once I get in office but we will find out what is going on even if I have to do it on the down low.”

The plane started to taxi down the runway.
