He leaned forward and poured himself another glass of wine, then topped up hers as well. “Okay. What do women not like about condoms?”
She pursed her lips in thought. The wine had helped to take the edge off, but she still found herself trying to fight off the blush that wanted to rise up and color her cheeks. “I would say there are times that they’re not lubricated enough, so they tend to pinch the skin a little.” She started to giggle but tamped it down. “They can also pull hair sometimes.” She took another sip of wine, hoping to further fortify her nerves.
He gave a short laugh. “That sounds more like the man rushing and not making sure his partner is ready first.”
Her pussy throbbed at his words. Would he be a patient lover?
“Sorry. Just thinking aloud. What else bothers a woman?”
She watched as he sat back, his arm draped across the top of the couch. His blue eyes watched her intently. Her gaze slid down. She could see a light dusting of hair on his chest where he’d unbuttoned the top two buttons. She swallowed, moving her gaze back to his face. “Well…some might have an issue if during the act the condom starts sliding off. So, maybe the fit of it? But that might be more of a man’s complaint. What would you say?”
“Honestly?”
“Yes. I spilled. Now it’s your turn.” She smiled, watching him squirm a little. At least the topic was affecting him too. She brought her other leg up under her, sitting on her knees facing him.
“You asked for it.” His gaze widened as one side of his mouth quirked up.
Her nipples tightened, the lace of her bra abrading them. She hadn’t asked for it yet, but she sure wanted to.
“Guys use condoms because they have to, for various reasons. But if they could go without, they would. Putting them on can be a pain and they decrease the sensation somewhat. That being said, when it comes down to getting to have sex, they just want to have a condom and they don’t really care what type it is, as long as it works.”
She squirmed a little in her seat and glanced at the blue box on the coffee table. “Okay. Since we’ve established a basis for things that don’t work for consumers, let’s see if there’s an information insert in the box that will tell us something about what makes this condom special.”
He reached over and popped the top, pulling a folded piece of white paper from the box before relaxing back into the cushions. She sat silent, watching as his gaze flitted over the information.
“Hmm.”
“What did you find?” she asked.
“It says that the lubrication is an enhanced formula that heightens her pleasure while delaying ejaculation for him. If it works, that could very well be the angle we need to market from.” He turned to look at her.
Her teeth sank into her lower lip as she stared back at him, the big question filling the silence between them. She had no idea where she found the courage, but before she could think she was speaking. “There’s only one way to find out.”
