3.5 stars. I found the story to be well written, but had too many character POV's to be truly good. I think it would have been better if the author concentrated on one set of characters and used the others as auxiliary to the story. I'd prefer separate stories to learn about the others, perhaps starting with "that night". Not a bad story and the ending worries me, which was the point, so I'll read more. Separate out the characters so we can follow just one pair and it would be excellent.L. A. Masquerade
