Her Dark Desires

A large flapping sound assaulted her ears when she became conscious. In disbelief at the sight that greeted her, Anais began to scream. A creature with golden eyes and pale skin returned her stare. The creature looked her in the eyes, grinning. Anais knew she had no choice except to stay calm. Ahead, in the distance, she saw an old gray castle, perched upon a cliff, overlooking an ocean. A large garden of roses grew around the castle, the only visible path was that in which the creature would land, unscathed by the thorns.

Landing gracefully, and gently setting her down on her feet, the creature retracted his wings. Anais observed in awe as they disappeared into his back, making him appear almost human, if it were not for his pale skin, glowing eyes, and visible fangs, not lengthened.

As she observed this creature, she was mesmerized by his appearance. He was definitely not of this world, and she shuddered to think him a demon, as he was definitely no angel. Her heart sank as she tried to determine what he would do with her.

She let her gaze travel over him. His eyes danced with iridescent golden hues, and a leather band held his long, dark brown hair in a ponytail. His face was simply magnificent, right down to the deep cleft within his chin, as if carved from marble. His broad chest and shoulders almost put her to shame as her imagination ran wild with the thought of her lying spread wide beneath him.
