The holidays are a time for giving, so when Marsh decides to give Jane a real Christmas, complete with family and friends, he never expected everything to go haywire. Meeting his family is only part of the problem. His parents, the reigning royalty of his race, are going to be a surprise to Jane, but no more so then his station as crown prince, a fact he had kept hidden from her till now.

Throw in a conniving princess that contracts his death, an engagement ring and his quirky and outlandish parents, and Marsh has his hands full, just presenting Jane as his consort.

Two days before Christmas, Trent Duvall, Janey’s Silent partner in the assassin syndicate shows in Austria and informs them of the fact that a special member of the Duvall inner circle has gone AWOL, and its up to Jane and Marsh to help him get him back. With the help of Malcolm Frost and a few choice friends, Trent and Marsh leave Jane in Austria and go to Africa to retrieve their family member, and usurp the position of a murderous and insane Fallen Angel.

And you thought your holidays were stressful.

Excerpt:
The ring on her finger constantly sparkled, drawing her attention to it. He'd actually done it. The thought still surprised her. Sure, they were pretty much married by his terms, but this was something real, something she could understand. It was a magnificent piece the stones were unbelievably perfect. The ring was heavy, reminding her constantly of its presence, and she loved it. She loved Marsh, too, though, but the ring was worth a mention or four.

Marsh had been going out of his way to answer her questions on where she was going. His unusual cooperation and outright scary willingness to keep her informed could mean two things. One was that this was going to be bad, really bad, and he was trying to compensate her with glittery things now so she couldn't bitch later. Or two: despite his grumbling and insistence on the crazy of his parents, he was actually looking forward to going home and introducing her to his family along with watching her beat, and hopefully kill a few of the challenging princesses. She had been willing to bet that it was a little of both, but as they grew closer to his parents' home he grew paler. In fact, he was becoming really tense and quiet. This all made her lean towards the really bad, which made her nervous.

Austria was cold. She'd expected it to be cold, but it was freezing. It hadn't taken them long to move from the private jet to the stretch Hummer that picked them up at the airport, but that time was enough for the cold to set in. She pulled her coat up against her, cuddling into Marsh as the car's heating did its best to thaw her out.

"There better be heat where we're going." Her teeth chattered.

"Pet, my parents might be older then dirt but they do enjoy their comforts. Heat happens to be one of them, along with satellite television, the Internet, and a chef's kitchen. Though with the advances in technology, I'm almost certain they have that HD crap now."

"Good. So we're not going to end up in some time warp place where I have to wear a horridly heavy dress and a corset? I'm just checking."

"Nope no heavy dress and corset." He smirked, looking out at the snowy landscape.

"You promise?" Relief flooded over her. "No corset? At all?"

"I promise. No corset, pet."

She leaned up, kissing his cheek. "Well, that is good news. So, how exactly is this going to work? I take it they're expecting you."

"Technically they always expect me around this time of year, but usually a courier shows up with a package from me and a letter, begging me off from the year's celebrations. This year I'm the courier." He reached over and squeezed her thigh.

She felt the heat from his hand spread through her and decided she was warm enough to enjoy herself. "And do I get to be the package?" she teased, moving up to straddle him. Placing a leg on ether side of him, she opened their coats to press herself against him. He was much warmer than her. She kissed the tip of his nose sweetly.

"You are, pet, a very precious package." He nuzzled her. "Remember what I said, though, don't do anything Asa asks of you. Odds are he's got an ulterior motive."

"Yeah, I got it; your old man's a pervert. I'm sure I can handle it." She kissed him, almost back to her normal temperature thanks to her cunning heat-stealing plan.

He grinned at her and ran a finger down her cheek. "You comfortable?"

"Of course, you're a very comfy man." She wiggled on his lap to emphasize her point. "I'd sit on you all day if I could."

"I bet." His hands reached down and grasped her ass as he ground her into his erection.
