Excerpt 1:

Sydney stood in her kitchen, eyeing up Evan's strong form as he drank a glass of water. Sweat rolled down his neck onto his broad chest. Sleek yet muscular, Sydney could not help but admire the strong yet subdued beauty of the man who stood so close—yet so far.
